Description

Anise is one of the oldest spices native to the Mediterranean region, it produces a sweet liquorice flavour and has beeen used for its aromatic qualities as well as medicinal and magical effects.

Anise is the delicate fragrance of French anisette liquer and is delicious in coffee and teas.

Our Monin aniseed syrup is cloudy white in colour with light yellow glints. It has a 'nose' of pure star anise, refreshing, intense with a hint of liquorice.
