Honey is produced by honey bees from the nectar of flowers and has been cultivated for thousands of years.
In the Roman Empire honey was used instead of gold to pay taxes and in parts of Greece it was the custom for a bride to dip her fingers in honey in order to have a sweet married life and sweet relationship with her mother-in-law!
