Description
The purple passion fruit is native to southern Brazil, Paraguay and northern Argentina.
In 1880, the first vine was planted in Hawaii and became very popular. The fruit has a tough rind, waxy and smooth, ranging in colour from dark purple to light yellow. The flavour of the fruit is uniquely aromatic, guava-like and sweet to tart.
Our Monin passion fruit syrup has all the exotic fruitiness of the tropics with a sweet sour taste this syrup is ideal for fruit punches, sodas, smoothies, lemonades and much more.
